Pappu Yadav's father passes away in Patna AIIMS

Chandra Narayan Prasad, father of Purnea's independent MP Rajesh Ranjan, also known as Pappu Yadav, passed away this morning at Patna AIIMS. He was over 80 and had been undergoing long-term treatment. According to reports, he breathed his last around 6 a.m. on Tuesday. His final rites will be performed today in his native village of Khurda, Madhepura. The family is in deep mourning after this tragic loss.

Pappu Yadav was at Patna AIIMS with his family, including his mother Shanti Priya, wife Rajya Sabha MP Ranjit Ranjan, son Sarthak Ranjan, daughter Prakriti Ranjan, and sister Dr. Anita Ranjan, along with other close relatives. Deeply saddened by his father's death, Pappu Yadav had always shared a close bond with him.

Chandra Narayan Prasad leaves behind a grieving family, including his son, daughter, grandchildren, and in-laws. His passing is being mourned by family members, supporters, and well-wishers, who are offering condolences to Pappu Yadav and his family. Many relatives and friends have arrived at their residence to offer their support.

Prasad had been unwell for a while, initially admitted to a private nursing home in Purnea. On September 9, he was shifted to Patna AIIMS on doctors' advice, where a team of doctors was treating him, but unfortunately, he couldn't recover.
